Xiaomi’s K30 Pro Launches With Snapdragon 865 & Pop-Up Front Camera

High-spec yet mid-range smartphone has a nice ring to it and Xiaomi brought out its latest contender Redmi K30 Pro in the market. The low-price device is all set to launch in China first for a price of $425, only.

The circular camera setup on the back had many anticipating the final results and the K30 Pro indeed comes with a circular camera module. Four lenses are arranged in a square and as for the selfie camera – Xiaomi is bringing back the pop-up camera.

So do the high-end specifications really do justice to the entire narrative of this phone being cheaper?

K30 Pro Features Decent Specs

It has a Snapdragon 865 processor showing 5G support. A 6.67-inch screen real-estate with a 1080p AMOLED panel with HDR10+. K30 packs 8K recording of video, a headphone jack,
IP53 water resistance, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, a 4,700mAh battery, and 33W fast charging over USB-C.

Another achievement of Xiaomi with K30 Pro would be their claim for this phone to have a better haptic feedback system that is powered by a linear motor. So we will see how that claims pans out in action. However, coming to the most sought-out feature, which is the camera system of K30 Pro, it is quite decent.

Camera Specifications of K30 Pro

The primary shooter packs 64-megapixels. a 13-megapixel ultrawide, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel telephoto. As for the selfie cam, it houses a 20-megapixel sensor. Those who are seeking a telephoto module will have to opt for the K30 Pro Zoom version, which has an 8-megapixel tele shooter with OIS capable of 3x optical and 30x hybrid zoom. It is said to be in place of the 5mp macro cam.

Both Redmi K30 Pro versions come with a whopping 4,700 mAh batteries and 33W fast charging. Other specs include WiFi 6 connectivity, 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
